How We Handle Your Data

At Angelva, we believe privacy is a fundamental right, not a compliance checkbox. Our policies are designed to give you complete clarity and meaningful control over your information at every stage of your relationship with us. We apply the same rigorous security practices to protecting customer and prospect data that we recommend to our own clients — because we understand firsthand what's at stake when sensitive information is mishandled, exposed, or processed without proper authorization. Our data handling practices are reviewed annually and updated to reflect evolving legal requirements and industry best practices.

Data Collection

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide, operate, and improve our services — and we never sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to delivering our contracted services. Data collected includes account and contact information, platform usage telemetry used for service improvement, and security event data processed on your behalf as part of our threat monitoring and forensics services. All data collection practices are fully documented in our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), and we provide a complete data inventory upon request.

Data Usage

Your data is used solely to deliver, secure, and continuously enhance the Angelva platform and related cybersecurity services that you have contracted with us to provide. We do not use your security event data, digital forensics investigation findings, incident details, or organizational information for any purpose beyond providing those contracted services. Where data is used for platform improvement and model training, it is rigorously aggregated and anonymized to ensure that individual organizational data cannot be identified, attributed, or reconstructed from aggregate datasets.

Your Controls

You have full control over your information throughout its entire lifecycle, including the rights to access, correct, export, restrict processing, and permanently delete your data at any time. We honor data subject rights requests within the timelines required by applicable law — including GDPR Article 17 deletion rights, CCPA opt-out and deletion rights, and equivalent provisions under other regional privacy regulations. Our platform includes built-in data management tools that allow authorized administrators to manage retention policies, audit data access logs, and initiate deletion workflows without requiring a support ticket or waiting for manual processing.
